True to its name, this stonecrop likes to grow on stone walls and outcroppings. It also tends to invade lawns. It is often planted as a groundcover and easily escapes out of control. Like other sedums, it often propagates by pieces breaking off and re-rooting elsewhere. It is no doubt the weediest of sedums.
