High Mallow (Malva sylvestris)

also known as: Mallow, Common Mallow, Tall Mallow, Wood Mallow and French Hollyhock, although Common Mallow is often used to refer to the more weedy Malva neglecta.

This is more of a garde flower than a weed, comonly passed around from community garden to community garden, though it has a habit of escaping and growing wherever it may, similar to its close cousin the Hollyhock, only smaller, thereby getting an easier foothold in small places.
