Bermuda Grass (Cynodon dactylon)

also known as: Wire Grass, Bahama Grass, Devil's Grass, Couch Grass, Indian Doab, Grama, Scutch Grass, etc.

This is a turf grass, used sometimes for golf courses. When mowed, it can become a thick turf and strangle out competition. It sends out long runners, rooting every six inches or so, where grass blades shoot up. These runners entwine and tangle into a massive web.
